Most owners can’t tell which of their wells make money and which cost money.

We show you exactly what you own, what every well pays, and what it’s costing you. Then we take the whole job off your plate, optimizing your portfolio and creating ultimate clarity with our Oak Energy Management System in just 30 days.

What’s below is the same ground I’d otherwise cover on our call, explaining how any of this works. Watch it beforehand and we can spend our time on your situation instead of mine.

  • 01You inherited an interest you never asked for, and the mail keeps coming.
  • 02You're ready to stop working, but not ready to sell what your family spent decades building.
  • 03You hold this passively and can't tell at a glance whether you're being shorted.

My grandfather spent decades building this. When he passed, the family was ready to let it go for almost nothing, because nobody left could make sense of it. I’ll tell you what that pile of paper actually looked like, what I found buried in it, and what I built so it wouldn’t happen again. By the end you’ll have a decent idea of whether I’m someone you’d hand this to.

Where this goes from here

Four steps, and you can stop after any one of them.

  1. We talk

Thirty minutes on the phone. I'll ask what you own, what's been confusing, and what you'd like this to look like in two years. I won't ask for account numbers or documents, and nothing gets signed. Afterward I'll send you a short written summary of what I heard and what I'd do first. That's yours to keep either way.

  2. A look at what you actually have

We go through your holdings: what you own, what it's producing, and what's owed. Then we show you what we found in plain English. You don't hand anything over and you don't sign a management agreement to do it. In every review we've run so far, we've found something worth your attention.

  3. You decide

Sometimes the answer is that you don't need us. If you've got one interest and one steady check, I'll tell you so and show you how to handle it yourself. If there's more going on, we'll talk about what it looks like to hand the paperwork over.

  4. We handle the paperwork. You keep the minerals.

The operators, the division orders, the statements, the mail. All of it comes to us, and one clear report goes to you. Your name stays on the deed.

The questions people actually ask

These are the things people say to me before they hire us.

I’d rather you hear my answers now than spend our call on them. Watch them in any order, or skip the ones that aren’t you.

  • 01"My family built this. I'm not turning it over to a stranger."

  • 02"I never signed up to be the oil and gas guy in this family."

  • 03"Moving all of this over sounds like more trouble than it's worth."

  • 04"Should I just sell it and be done with it?"

  • 05"My accountant already handles this."

Three things worth knowing up front

  1. We don't buy minerals. We never take title. Your name stays on the deed.

We manage what you keep. There's no version of this where we end up owning what your family owns.

  2. We don't make the decisions. You do.

When something lands on your desk, we tell you in plain terms what it means for the assets and give you our honest read. Then you decide.

  3. Your records are yours.

If you ever stop working with us, everything we've built comes with you.

A letter showed up offering to buy minerals I didn't even know I owned. A relative had passed and left them to me, and I had no idea what any of it was worth or whether the offer was a fair one. Oak looked at what the wells were actually doing, called the operator, and found money that had been owed to me sitting there unclaimed. I'd have signed that letter and never known the difference. Instead I kept what my family left me, and now the checks come to me. I still think about how close I came to letting it go for nothing.

For years I was paying bills on sixty old wells that barely produced a thing, and it only ever got worse. It hung over me and I had no idea how to fix it. Oak dug into the agreements, worked out that the operator wasn't playing by the rules, and went and sat across the table from them. They got the wells handed back, kept the land around them in my name, and cleared out the balance that had been piling up. It was the first real step anyone had taken since my father passed. I've got no interest in selling now, and for the first time I'm not lying awake over it.
